On April 14 2018, members of Lifestyle Galaxy, NCCF, and Aluwani, combined their efforts to deliver 15 tons of food to 20 Drop In Centres in Limpopo, South Africa.

This humanitarian operation started effectively the day before with pallet upon pallet of food being loaded on the truck. Each of the 20 locations were separated with the assigned allocation of food for that Drop In Centre.

Each Drop In Centre had a carefully engineered combination of foods consisting of items such as maize, beans, fish and fruit. These combinations, along with other items, had been carefully chosen and put together to provide a nutritionally balanced diet for the children by nutritional experts.

Scroll down to the SECOND VIDEO of our food drop to the Dikgale Region of Limpopo, South Africa:

The trucks which had been pre-loaded on the Friday with over 15 tons of food, awaited the volunteers at the crack of dawn to start the day which included 5 offloads to major distribution centres. At the centres, there were representatives from four other locations that the main distribution centre supported. After a 4-hour drive from the starting point, the caravan reached the first drop off and the trucks were not empty and all deliveries completed until twilight that evening.

The Board and Executive Team really want to thank all the volunteers from Lifestyle Galaxy, NCCF and Aluwani for facing a very long hard day which also took a night on the road and most of Sunday to complete.

As can be seen in the video, the team was met with wave upon wave of spontaneous joy and gratitude upon arrival at each of the Drop In Centres which stirred emotions in an indescribable way, for those volunteers who were there.

„Making the World a Better Place“ through this labour of love, undoubtedly is one of the most rewarding human experiences imaginable as reported by all the participating volunteers.

Thank you to the Lifestyle Galaxy members whose production efforts made this possible.
