The Industry has been charging increasingly higher transaction fees over the past few months due to longer transaction times.
Galaxy Mining has been absorbing the steadily increasing fees until now. We will now charge a flat fee which will allow the Company to just “break even” on these transactions.
Effective immediately we will be implementing a flat rate of 0.00121 BTC. This flat fee is the same regardless of the amount of the transaction. For example, whether you withdraw 0.5 Bitcoin or 5.0 Bitcoins, the flat fee will remain 0.00121 BTC.
Bitcoin is at a pivotal moment where it’s technology is being pushed forward through either Bitcoin Unlimited or Segwit. At least one of these solutions (possibly both) will prevail and the result will be much faster confirmation times with lower fees and an all together better, stronger Bitcoin system, which we believe will strengthen Bitcoin’s value even more!
